You might be able to argue the case that with time zone differences it is still the same "today" for you as when posted. It's certainly less than 24 hours since the original posting. :)

You are right, at least I made it in under the 24 hour posting. Lets hope they have a pass left, I have never been to Pubcon and it looks awesome.
