May I interest you in email auto-notification?

Would it happen again?

AHHHHH!
Got my first auto-notification since years :)

I think I got a piece of the puzzle:
Forum/s that I visited before losing auto-notification
(Mostly PHP) are no longer since almost ever reacting to my acceptance of auto reply.
A forum that I VISITED FOR THE FIRST TIME is sending me auto-notification
for example PDA and Wireless today...

So the question is what the difference is in before and now

Maybe a mod or admin could point me the a specific thread (say in PHP)
I will then answer and select auto-notification
As such it should be possible tracking the script/db interaction

It's still a bit of a lucky dip for me I'm afraid. I get some and not others.

Does webmasterworld use SPF? I had an issue once with a customer of my own. She complained she did not receive any updates on her orders and no shipping notification. When I looked into the matter it turned out she redirected her emails and the server doing the redirection was not set up correctly. So the SPF check always failed and the emails bounced.

To find out if it's you or the webmasterworld system, perhaps you could register with a freemailer like googlemail or yahoo and check if you receive any emails.
