I would love to meet some of them. But would they like to meet me?
I am sure I could help them tighten up some loose ends.
I would love to meet some of them. But would they like to meet me?
Yes, they would love to meet you! Imagine the good press for Google when all their fans show up!
Everybody, please be there! Register with Google for that meeting, register with webmasterworld for the main conference, and book your hotel room early!
All I am is waiting for a confirmation mail now?
I pray this all goes well for you guys.
I'm going the main conference too, link above, the Tuesday-Friday thing, in the same hotel. I've already booked my room.
It will be nice having someone go and confront Google with real controversial questions, questions that they avoid addressing on this forum.
Obviously, re-request inclusion, 302 redirecting, duplicate penalties, and page jacking, subjects that Google is very ambiguous about and make little comment on these forums are not relevant to you.
How do you know what questions they (Google) want to answer, can answer, or allowed to answer, until you ask the questions?
You can bet your Bourbon _I'm_ going to be asking about 302s and canonical confusion!
I'm respectful of the fact that the Google folks may not be free to answer/address specific items but this is a great opportunity for all to be frank and open about why results and many legitimate sites are suffering so much from the attempts to fix those problems.
If WebmasterWorld discussions are any indication of the importance of these issues to the broader web community I think Google should be very interested.
Ha - I can just visualise GoogleGuy severing Sergey Brins arm with a lightsabre, then webmasterworld Preferred Member Palpatine, shorts one of the google radios, and hurls poor old Serge out of one of the Googleplex windows in a blaze of electricity.
GoogleGuy bows head - "What have I done!?"
Preferred Member Palpatine - "You did well young one - I will name you Spam Vader - Now follow me to the imperial content cranker with the big yellow button."
