List of SE submission URL's

Hey, I was wondering if anyone had a long list of submission URL's for SE's. I have the big ones, like AV, Yahoo, MSN, Google, Excite, etc...., but I'm looking for a comprehensive list of major search engines. Also, I've been pretty US-centric, and I was hoping somebody had a list just lying around . . . if you've got one in a spreadsheet format, and you feel like sharing, please email it to me @ skelbley@RealAdventures.com or just go ahead and list them here.

Have you seen the one Jim has over on JimTools [jimtools.com]?

I have an ADD URL section on my site that lets you submit directly to engines, directories, vortals, and international engines. It also includes new engines/directories that debut.
Optimization tips, engine FAQs, and misc help are placed next to the submission URL.

I built it because I needed one and decided to share it :)

(PS - I earn nothing from this.)

cre8pc,

You need to contact Burstnet, they seem to have put some banners on the page without your knowledge.

If you think I've earned anything from Burst, you're wrong. Biggest rip off I've seen yet! I don't use their uncache code because it would destroy my site's rank. Therefore, since adding their banners, I've not been paid anything. I'm trying to get out of the contract. They don't seem to understand that all their javascript is bad for search engine optimization. As a long time tester and reviewer, I've found Burst to be less then forthcoming on what one is actually signing up for.

I don't lie. I don't earn $$ from the link I posted here. If you had bothered to do your research, you would have noted I work fulltime for VerticalNet as a web developer. Cre8pc.com is not a business.

If the moderator, or Brett, has a problem with my trying to help the person above, then by all mean, remove my post. I'm not attached to the outcome.

Hi, Everyone!

Go look at yourselves in the mirror and know that you are looking at an angel who saved my poor neck.

Thank you for your generosity. I am a professional web developer. My previous host used to do all the submissions for my client sites, but he cheated me big time and I left. My new host does not do SE submissions so I am on my own with a bunch of SE rules changes that have me somewhat freaked out.

I have been kindly referred to this thread for help and I certainly have been helped.

You are all wonderful to share so generously. I give a huge amount to anyone who needs help, but I am not used to being the fortunate recipient. Well, this feels like Christmas to me.

Thank you so much.

This seems a handy place to post this url to a directory of SE's all over the globe. (Now don't freak, Judi.) searchenginecolossus [searchenginecolossus.com]

"RC":

How about if I just freak now, before I look!! <g> I can tell you that I wish I had stock in a paper mill. I have gone to all the wonderful resources and could fry eggs on my printer. I think one of the best programs I have ever gotten is "Print Screen."

I am so grateful to be here. None of the other forums I attend cover these topics on a profession level, where I really need this help.

I hope I can carry my weight and contribute something meaningful to someone.

Thank you so much.

JK!
OHMYGOSH!!!! Your site is definitely my beacon in the dark. You have just taken me from theory to reality. Now I can actually see what this is all about and actually get to the sources, themselves. This was all missing while I was limping around the land mines trying to figure out the horror of all the changes since I first started using meta tags and keywords in '96 and no one knew what they were.

Anyone who is lost like I am needs desperately to go to your site. Thank you for the fabulous work and for guiding me there. I really owe you, my friend. : )

Judi
PS: You know, on a personal, note it is really a kick to be in the company of brilliant colleagues. I don't often get the opportunity working in a small Florida town out of a home office.

You know Judi, I think you've made these fellows/gals' heads swell to the point that this thread won't fit on my screen (I have a 52" screen - kidding :) )

Here's another - [searchengineworld.com]

Hi, Air!

I started this wonderful journey at Searchengineworld.com and that is how I found my way here. I think I was backing up in amazement and fell down a rabbit hole! <g>

I have printed so much from all your wonderful sites that you could fry and egg on my printer. I have printed all of Searchengineworld.com, Kim's site at cre8pc.com, all of spider-food.net, and now your wonderful site is going to finally explain to me what this mysterous word "cloaking" is all about. I thought it had something to do with Murphy's Law and poor spelling!

Seriously, everyone, I have been in this field for ten years as a high-tech PC trainer/hardware software troubleshooter/desktop pub./graphic artist/web developer/writer. Everthing I know I have learned by teaching myself how to push the envelope on my own. But I am stuck in a small retirement town in Florida and I can't get out because houses aren't selling so I am dying for business and for "shop talk" with colleagues.....to say nothing of having a mentor here and there to bail me out....

I really needed help in this area and I could not get this level of help at Adobe or Expert's Exchange or even the Internation Webmaster's Assn. I can't believe that I have fallen into this wonderful cradle of generosity. I have always been the one who gave support, but this is my first time being on the receiving end. Call me sentimental, but it does truly bring a tear to the eye.

In case any of you thinks you are not super important and golden, just take a look in the mirror. You are saving my neck and that's a pretty important job.

Thanks so much for being there for me.
