I assume you are speaking of hallway pages (pages that are simply a list of links to all the pages you want picked up by the SEs).
I have used them in the past but more for link popularity than for submission. I don't like to wait for the spiders to index the hallway and then wait again for them to come back and follow the links. I usually submit all the pages of my site over a period of time to avoid spamming. Hope that helps.
Welcome to the the fora here at WMW. Are you using your homepage as the hallway page, or are you making a hallway from a link from the homepage? I have found recently that linking all your pages from the homepage works very well(provided your site doesn't have thousands of pages). If you can make visible links with meaningful text, than that's all the better for you. If not, I have found that making a link with an image the same color as your background works just fine. I have been using 10 pixel X 10 pixel images and have seen the spiders follow these links without any problems.
I make doorway pages linking each other with one link from tbe index. This link is based on a picture of one transparent pixel because it mustn't be visible for people which come on the homepage.
I confirm we have good results in Google with this process.
So i wonder if instead of submiting all my doorway pages i can submit only one like an hallway page and obtain a best ranking.
Concerning the image, i have no problem but SE are said to detect the size of the image (in the HTML tag) and perhaps the color.
Bienvenue.
I have had real good success by submitting just the index page and then having links on this page being followed to all of the other pages on the site. The method you are currently using is also a good method.
I'm sure you're familiar with the saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" If you are having great results as it stands now, I wouldn't change things.

YOu can leave out the attribute size image tags and as far as I know, the engines can't detect the color of the image.
