local and international SE submission

where to submit localized version of my site

Hi, I have a site with a local (Italian) version and an English version. I want to submit the Italian version to Italian search engines (i.e. google.it) and the English version to American/international SE (i.e. google.com). If both submissions end up in the same global directory, would the double submission be considered spam?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld.
Did you read paynt's welcome post [webmasterworld.com]? Nice way to get started here.

Your pages will end up in the same index and that wont be considered as spam. If I where you, I would not bother submitting to Google. If your site is included in ODP [dmoz.org] and such other directories Google will find it by itself.
