Using Images and Drop down Menus?

Ive read that some searches/spiders only go so far down the html code before stopping!

The problem is im using a graphic image in the header aswell as drop down menus in a table (no frames) which are not really my chosen keywords.. Will the spider just see this? how many lines of code does the spider actually drill down?

Will my main body/content with keywords be picked up?

They'll see the drop down, but since "drop down stuffing" was rampant a year ago, they've started decreasing their value.

They'll see the whole page and then strip it down. Some spiders will read/look at more of the html than others. Start with the premise that they do look at things like links, some style information, and other html based page elements. From there, it is up to each spider/indexer system to decide how much of the page to index.
