Where there are muliple domains pointing to a single site AND a redirection being effected by coding (ASP and/or PHP), how does this affect SE rankings?
An example of the sort of code I'm talking about is here: [4guysfromrolla.com...]
Or put another way, is this a way around having to buy separate webspace for each domain or not ;-) ?

It can hurt as some se's will follow the redirect, and others won't. Those that do, will often interp one or the other domains as dupes.
