I would like some info on:
How long does a page sit in the queue before spidered after submitting?
How long from the time they spider a page until the site would be available to someone searching?
All engines are different. ALL engines change their indexing constantly. Some spider immediately, and index later, some spider on regular 2-3-4 week intervals, and index later. Some spider on regular intervals and NEVER index you(Google)- you might be indexed or you might not be depending on many things.
There is no correct or exact answer for you.
"you ask a very general question to which there is NO answer"
I realize this is a tough question, but I have seen some post what they feel is the answer to my question. WPG software after submiting urls returns their expected time for indexing on various SE's. I've seen other references that suggested times for indexing that were different from WPG's estimates by weeks to months.
Just wondering if there is a reliable source or if it really is just a crap shoot?
