as long as there are no special characters like ?'s in the url you will be fine. They behave exactly like regular html because all the processing is done server side before the content is served to the spider.

Asp is the one exception to the 'no dynamic file extensions' that I follow. Asp is so common now, that the engines can't ignore it.

I'm a newbie here but have been using asp exclusively and have found its use to be second only to server api's (dll's) as the visitor be it a spider or person, never sees the real code but only the results. (without any redirection i may add)

Well, I don't use it unless I absolutly forced too (I try to move servers first if it is nt) because there are engines (google) that do push ASP's down into the dumpster.

If you were Google and your prime meal ticket was Yahoo, who's cheif competitor is the proverbial 1000 pound Gorilla Microsoft, what would you do? Support those that are supporting your cheif enemy? Or, support those to work against them too?

Hmmm, I don't know, but I would think you keep your friends close and your enemies closer. :)

ASP pages seem to rank OK in google, not that mine do, but am still getting the feel of things.

Lots of great info here
