Hi, I have recently gotten my first full domain, I have been using sub-domains for quite some time. When submitting to a site, should I submit
a) www.mydomain.com
b) www.mydomain.com/
c) www.mydomain.com/index.html
d) www.mydomain.com/index.html/

Sorry for such a dumb question, heh. . .

And I have a new stat tracking service, and I need to give them my URL for tracking stats, which URL from above should I give them for the stats? Thanks.

For submits, I use (b).

I wouldn't use "index.htm" or "index.html" because those might change if you someday went to another extension like "shtml" on the index page.

d is out (that really isn't what you want. even though your server may support it. delete that one from your thinking:)

A is ok, but B is better. C isn't bad either, but like RC said, it may change. There is also the fact, that there is power in the "root domain" alone. SE's realize that people could submit "index.htm, index.asp, index.html...etc". They automagically are giving your root page a small boost in some se's. If you use just the domain name or domain name.com/ the se's know that is without a doubt, your root page.
