Welcome to the European forum, bchiffon.

I am not sure that you have posted this in the right forum, so I have alerted two of my collegues to see if perhaps we should move this post into another, where there are people around who can help you. I took a look at the code and can see nothing directly wrong with that page per se. The problem could be the page that you get when you type www.cardindia.com. Instead of an index page, there is a re-direct to a page named flash.htm Re-directs and flash are known to cause major problems with many search engines.

I am going to leave that to the experts, so just hang on and we'll get back to you. In the meantime, I suggest that you use the site search to locate discussions about flash and redirects (try redirects, re-directs, redirect and re-direct) If we move your post, you will be notified by Sticky mail.

bchiffon,

The site in question looks very professional. However, I would recommend adding some text to the first two pages of your site as there isn't any information for the Search Engines to index you properly. If you can add some text to all of the pages on the site, add unique appropriate titles on each page, this will go a long way in helping you to get indexed properly.

The visual design of these pages is very nicely done. Now comes the hard work of making the site communicate with the search engines.

IMO, your index page is especially going to be a problem with search engines (although not so much of a problem with directories.) Search engines are on guard against redirects. On your index page you have javascript code which redirects everyone to another page. There is no actual content on your index page itself.

Why not have the index page hold the content for the most common case, that is the visitor with Windows and Internet Explorer. Then you only need to redirect the other cases.

As was mentioned above, you will definitely need to give the search engines some real text on each page that you want to see listed. Since your index page stands the greatest chance of obtaining a high ranking, and it is also the ideal place for visitors to enter your site, make sure you give it good attention.
