Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows 98; Monzilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows 95/98/NT/200/ME; VLNX-111100-SDM))

I'm having trouble classifying this agent. Anyone know what machine (or software) an agent like this would come from or is it a fake (200 might be a clue)? Whoever this is, he keeps his bases covered.

Okay, I don't know about all of this, but I do remember a CE PIE using a similar ID.

The "Windows 95/98/NT/200/ME" part seems to be a legitimate way to say Win95, Win98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows ME.

For instance, it's found prominently listed here: C¦Net [download.cnet.com].

That really looks like a amateur bot, where someone created the agent name to maximize acceptance.
