I am revieving hits from 208.200.98.37 at a pretty regular interval (1 or 2 a day). The only entry in the log is a get for my index file. The UA is Mozilla/1.1+(compatible;+MSPIE+1.1;+Windows+CE)
Anyone know if this is spider

Hi Feynman,

Welcome to WebmasterWorld. Hope you will like this place.

It is some sort of spider, but unfortunatly not a SE spider. Here is more details.

[network-protection.com...]

There is also the 'Microsoft Pocket Internet Explorer' wich is no longer in distribution, but is less likely since it grabs only one page.

I actually suspect it is Pocket IE, if due only to the fact that it is showing a platform of Windows CE.

Just found this at [lucent.com...] and even though it is over 3 years old, it does shed some light on spyglass

"Spyglass Prism is an Internet content delivery system that significantly improves the performance of any wireless device that accesses the Internet. Spyglass Prism is standards-based, server technology that dynamically optimizes and selectively extracts Internet content originally authored for display on personal computers to fit the unique characteristics of multiple mobile devices."
