Hi, does anybody know an application which analyses se-spiders and compare them with a list of spiders we already have listed and sends a notification if a new spider doesn't match our existing list? (quite an odd question;-)).
Please let me know!

not an odd question, but a powerful tool. I don't know of any to buy, but if you can build one (or get one built for you) it makes staying on top of spiders quite achievanle.
My setup consists of mysql database and a datagathering script. It can classify new and old spiders automatically, and has impressed the management more than once!
