We've been heavily crawled on a new site over the last few weeks

151.204.50.250 - - [09/Jul/2001:04:57:18 -0600] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 14599 "-" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows 95)"

IP network index reflects:
151.204.50.0 - 151.204.50.255New Jersey State Library (NETBLK-BA-151-204-50-0)

Can anybody give us an idea on what this is for - the site doesn't appear on the library search.

Interesting class C, I think it has come up before. The box on that IP is down. If you do a search [google.com] on it you'll find that it was actually used to serf the net at one point. There are some computers in that block that have clearly been hacked. Could be a desktop app, just sitting on a library computer too?

Thanks littleman

Still not sure of who/what this is but it looks arbitrary anyway. A few hundred pages have been requested from one site, on another, just a handful of the same pages each day since 24 June.
