I don't know who these guys are, but they are very agressive at spidering. Not just limited to one site. We are getting hits from all our own to client sites as well. I'm not be able to determine who they are, but I've asked quite a few people and some are also getting hits from Globalpac.

globalpac.com is Global Pacific, a wireless broadband provider. Not sure why they would be spidering.

Global Pacific is an ISP offering, among other services, rental or colocation of dedicated servers.

The IP 216.237.42.14 seems to belong to one of those servers.

A Netcraft query gives us:

216.237.42.14 is running Microsoft-IIS/5.0 on Windows 2000

If you enter the IP in your browser, a password protected page is called.

The only regular domain within their IP range is:

ns.zforce.com (216.237.42.67).

This includes the web site zforce.com
which belongs to:

Object Dynamics Corporation
151 Kalmus Drive Suite A-204
Costa Mesa CA 92626

No relationship to any known search engine discernible.
