Hi,

ias-or/3.3 (former https://www.admantx.com + https://integralads.com/about-ias/)

ias-va/3.3 (former https://www.admantx.com + https://integralads.com/about-ias/)

These two robots, seem to be legit and somewhat important when it comes to advertising.

Does anyone know how to authenticate the request? I can't find a page, at integralads.com about their crawler, and how to identify it (IP / IP Range).

Requests come from different place such as Go Daddy server, or AWS, or AES.

What bothers me is that, without dedicated IP, it means that anyone running a server at Go Daddy, AWS or AES can spoof the UA and scrap whatever they want .

Thank you.

They also use Robot ID ias-au, ias-jp , it doesn't look like country ID.

You mean, there's no relationship between the au and jp and so on, and the originating IP? When I saw or and va in the first post, I immediately thought Oregon and Virginia--but is there anything state-specific about advertising? The alternative is even less plausible, since va could be Vatican, but or doesn't seem to be anything.

Are you running any video on your site? That's what this bot is looking for.

(I don't have videos, so this gets a juicy 403 in response)

(Also personally have no use for IAS, which is Euro centric)
