Not a new visitor at my end but no mention of it here. Looks like marketing people crafted the UA -- here 'tis, in its entirety:

Expanse, a Palo Alto Networks company, searches across the global IPv4 space multiple times per day to identify customers' presences on the Internet. If you would like to be excluded from our scans, please send IP addresses/domains to: scaninfo@paloaltonetworks.com

Never asks for robots.txt

Anyone ever request exclusion?

Anyone ever request exclusion? Not I.

I ran across them in January and blocked the IPs:
Expanse, a Palo Alto Networks company
198.235.24.0 - 198.235.24.255
198.235.24.0/24

205.210.31.0 - 205.210.31.255
205.210.31.0/24

I believe there might be more, whois shows them as Organization: Palo Alto Networks, Inc (PAN-22)

I have older records showing other ranges but not seen recent activity (maybe because they were blocked, I did not cross check)
They were listed on Peak Web Hosting: AS Number AS33529
Palo Alto Networks PALOALTONET (NET-67-221-59-0-1) 67.221.59.0 - 67.221.59.255 67.221.32.0/19

:: repeat trip to logs ::

Yah, thought that ridiculous UA string sounded familiar. All of them 403 due to

:: further trip to logged headers ::

multiple header deficits.

What does “customers' presences [plural] on the Internet” mean?

I think that means they asked AI?
Or tried to correct AI?
Or just needed more characters?
