So far they've got a free pass because they only request one (interior) page, once a day, always preceded by robots.txt. This may change, since (a) the IP is Hetzner and (b) the URL in the UA leads straight to a 404. I will see if they answer email.

Gratifying follow-up: The information page is now present. (Or “now back”, probably, since it was obviously not thrown together in five minutes.) I emailed over the weekend and had a reply in my inbox first thing Monday. Whew.
