Yandexbot has a temper tantrum, since 2 days, it's fetching 5000 pages of my bigger site, every hour. It used to visit only 100-200 pages/hour. May be an update coming?

I checked one of my sites particularly targeted at Russian language countries and don't see any change. Yandex is crawling with its normal pace of 25-50 pages/hour consistently the last five weeks.

Yandex is very active all the time on my sites, whereas I get barely no visitors from their search engine. However, since Yandex seems to be good bot , in its behaviors, and since I still have enough resources to handle the load, this is fine. And who knows, one day, may be they'll get more international popular. (same remark for Baidu)
