I block IP's (entire CIDR's) associated with siteimprove as I discover / encounter them.

Funny thing about site improve - I find that it hits only a particular pdf file on my site - a pdf that is not discoverable or linked-to on my site, but a direct link has been emailed to a few people over the past year. So I don't know how siteimprove as discovered the file.

AFAIK Siteimprove clients can run reports on any domain. That's one of the value points; checking out the competition.
