Google Translate thinks “leiki” is Icelandic for “games”. If I tell it No, it‘s Finnish, it changes to “do not play”.

Cursory detour to translation-and-conjugation sites (I do not happen to own a Finnish dictionary, let alone a grammar) suggests that this is equivalent to interpreting “do play” as “do not play”. Nice one, Google.

Query: Why doesn’t Finnish have its own inherited word for “game” or “play”, forcing them to fall back on a loanword?
