Whenever you post about an unwelcome robot that I've never heard of :: obligatory detour to raw logs to confirm that it hasn't been rattling at the doorknob unseen and unsuspected :: I never know which of us should be saying Neener-neener.

Well I would venture to say, I probably see more UAs than you. My personal site gets heavy traffic & I have a couple sites I manage for clients.
On my own site, I manually drill through the entire raw logs every single day, often several times. I look at every error code, always diligent to see just whom I am blocking.
On my client's sites, I also manually look through the logs but usually just when I'm trouble-shooting or testing.
