History shows this agent coming from several DE hosts, but I couldn't find any definitive info.

According to their website (vebidooDOTde) vebidoo is a 'people' search engine that wanders the internet looking for publicly available names; does not 'store' the information found, only links to it. Has two lists on main page: 'today in news' and 'recently viewed' plus a basic search box.

Haven't seen it myself and certainly won't welcome it.

Thought that sounded familiar. Don't remember noticing their robot-- if they live at Hetzner they'd be out of sight out of mind-- but way at the bottom of the "links to your site" section of GWT/GSC there's a vebidoo.de. If I follow the links-- that is, the information provided, not going to the physical site-- I arrive at www.vebidoo.de/c/onename+othername. Except they can't be all that bright about identifying references to humans, because the linked page is actually part of the Paston letters, where you could feed in any random two bits of gibberish and something will come up. (Because spelling hadn't been invented yet.)
