Why I block it (and all similar bots:)

1.) IMO they themselves are not honest. They do not identify themselves.

2.) Their business model is based on the use of my intellectual property, but do not solicit my permission nor compensate me for its use.

3.) They do not say what they do with (my) content they scrape, how it is stored, for how long & who has access to it.

Note: They were formerly known as "TurnItIn" and as such, earned a disallow in my robots.txt. So now they come pretending to be a human browsing my pages, not.

Where did the iParadigm = Turnitin equation come from? Looking back I only find one Turnitin request from 199.47.80.0/21 and that one was anomalous. All others live(d) at 38.111.147.83 (exact IP as far as I can find, most recently last month on my personal site).
