A non-gegotiable rule for my forum site is that no proxies, in any shape or form, can be used to access the site. Opera Mini is a de facto proxy. After much searching, I've been unable to come up with a definitive list of IP blocks operated by Opera (they don't appear to make it easy in the way Amazon do (Amazon list their entire IP space). Does anyone have a record of that? I'd sure be grateful.

Perhaps it would be better to ask in Search Engine Spider and User Agent Identification [webmasterworld.com] as the folks that are regulars there maintain lists of IP's both bad and good.

Unfortunately, NOT based upon browser!
Any such accumulation would be unmanageable.

Why not just deny Opera UA entirely?

/Q

We've blocked Opera on UA and IP for years.
Monitor your logs and you'll soon see why.

The Opera Mini is a popular browser for Android tablet users, and also for some mobile phone users. If you block it, you'll be blocking a significant number of real human visitors.
