Anyone know who or what sputnik (l/c) is? I've only seen it in robot or suspected-robot UA strings. There's also a SputnikImageBot which may or may not be related, not that I particularly care.

On closer inspection they all seem to be identical (various events over the past year):

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; ru; rv:1.9.2.28) Gecko/20120306 Firefox/3.6.28 sputnik 2.5.2.8

:: insert tangential discussion about why my old-browser rule is expressed as "Firefox/(3\.[0-5]|[5-7])" with holes for 3.6 and 4 ::

There is a Sputnik image editor browser pluggin. It might be found in that add-on search in Firefox if it's still current.

Sputnik is a Browser software developed by SnakesXP. After our trial and test, the software is proved to be official, secure and free. Here is the official description for Sputnik:

Well, I did start out by saying I've only seen it in robots or suspected robots. (The same applies to "Bork Edition" -- can't remember the exact form, though it's in my htaccess -- but that one I did manage to look up. Har har.)
