Temporary Absence Update

Thought I'd post an update in case you noticed I've been kind of absent for the last couple of weeks. I've checking in, just not posting or moderating much.

Short story is I was being weaned off some medication I've been taking for few years now and we thought it was over and then I had a sudden relapse at the same time I caught a nasty cold with high fever and literally had a medical meltdown. It was pretty unnerving to have it all happen at the same time but luckily it started to sort itself out and I'm recovering.

Cold is gone, meds adjusted and at the moment I seem to be back on track and energized again.

Thanks to everyone for participating and keeping the forum going so well in my absence.

Sounds like you got those little gremlins on the run now incrediBILL. Before you know it you'll be feeling like your old, old, old, real old self again. (Bet that thought will make you feel better).

I'm just bummed because the whole mess was almost completely healed and behind me but apparently I'm not quite as well as the docs thought.

Funny you put it in such a way as it's the ongoing skin problem and without getting too gory, the only compromised areas left are below the knee and I started having edema leaks and some of the very top epidermis layer literally started peeling off, again.

Look up Stephens-Johnson Syndrome to learn more, it's happened to a couple of us on WebmasterWorld that I know of so it's not as rare as they claim! :)
