sem rush bot and Amazon IPs

Is this an Amazon bot or a bot using Amazon?

Hi,
Just now finding Sem rush bot/0.9 checking out my site. I added it the robots.txt file to see what it would do. Sometimes it obeys, sometimes it does not. Coming in using a variety of IPs, including:

50.16.21.nnn
50.17.154.nnn
50.19.179.nnn
184.73.11.nnn

All these ranges belong to Amazon. So I have for the time being blocked Sem rush bot in htaccess via User Agent. Waiting to see if it returns as something else with the same IP ranges. Have not blocked the IP ranges yet.

By the way, had to insert some spaces between Sem rush bot in order to have the forum admit the name. It was inserting #*$! instead.

1.) Mentioned yesterday in: Amazon AWS Hosts Bad Bots [webmasterworld.com...] Been busy, even if behaved, on my main site.

2.) This forum obfuscates many words. I tend to forget how which ones so I always eyeball the Preview. Will Sticky you.

I don't know about you, but they seem to get busier around the holidays. Amazon obviously wants to rule the world and play G*d! I just want them to go back to selling books. Pretty soon all the IPs will belong to them and then we're doomed.... Very interesting read, Pfui. Thank you.
