Mid month these UAs came through:

AndroidDownloadManager

UserAgent
"""Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 3.2; en-us; Xoom Build/HTJ85B) AppleWebKit/534.13 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Safari/534.13"""

Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0C; Creative AutoUpdate v1.40.01)

"Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 3.2; en-us; Xoom Build/HTJ85B) AppleWebKit/534.13 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Safari/534.13"

All from same IP: 72.253.245.n

No robots.txt

Hit only one file (a very LARGE pdf) and... that's all I got, folks!

Curious if anyone has info regarding above.

The IP belongs to Hawaiian Telcom Services Company, Inc which I have marked as a DSL service. If that is true then it looks like a single (misguided?) person playing about.

Could it be an updater looking to see if the file has changed?

Hmmm... maybe? ... but I doubt it. All of the UAs above appeared on ONE file over a 2 second time period.

That said... this is ALL I've seen of the above. Wondering if anyone else has seen any iteration or combination as listed.

"AndroidDownloadManager" is the download agent native to Android 2.* on mobile/portable appliances (phones, tablets, etc.) I block "download" in UAs so ironically I cannot DL files from my own sites using my Android phone.

The 1st & 3rd UA strings look typical for Android driven appliances, but the middle looks suspect or just not a UA string I've seen before that would include "AndroidDownloadManager."
