I found in my logs this IP accessing with the Feedburner user agent

98.158.20.230 - - [11/Dec/2010:04:27:02 -0500] "GET ******* HTTP/1.1" 302 368 "-" "feedburner/1.0 (http://www.feedburner.com)

is this legitimate? the IP does not resolve to google.

I know. But i thought this is where feedburner used to be hosted before google took over...
So there's no conection with the real feedburner. Right?
Thanks!

feedburner dot com is hosted on google servers.
IP Address: 64.233.169.100

Is it logical to you that google would pay another company (Central Host) to maintain servers/hosting, when google has their own unlimited servers?

no, it's not logic for google to pay for servers. But we're not always capabale of understanding google's logic either...

In any case, i find it better to ask for a second opinion when i'm not 100% sure of something :)
