I've seen this a few times now and based on various tech blogs it seems to be the real (albeit leaked) Windows Phone 7 Asus handset.

Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows Phone OS 7.0; Trident/3.1; IEMobile/7.0) Asus;Galaxy6

Thanks for the heads-up on this one. It differs markedly from previous Windows Phone 6 UAs.

You're welcome. I agree it's markedly different.

Of course the OS token has changed from Windows CE to Windows Phone OS. Although I don't understand why the OS and version number aren't separated by the customary slash. And the IEMobile token now correctly has a slash to separate the browser and version number. To me the significant change is the addition of the rendering engine/version token and I'm glad they followed the customary format.

Old pattern:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 6.*)*

New pattern:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows Phone OS 7.0; Trident/3.1; IEMobile/7.0)*
