robots.txt? NO

That bot URL sez: "Sorry. No results were found." So much for its claim that it's "Better than search."™

Off-Topic Quasi Nit Pick: Make the button "Let's Roll" (not Lets). Even better, pick a new phrase because that one gained near-hallowed significance in 2001... [en.wikipedia.org...]

Still at it, from the same fixed AWS IP/Host:

ec2-72-44-63-135.compute-1.amazonaws.com
SockrollBot/.01 (+http://www.sockroll.com/roll/SockrollBot)

robots.txt? NO

Whoiz shows inbred registrations for the bot-runner's home IP, 184.73.252.135, a.k.a. -- wait for it -- ec2-184-73-252-135.compute-1.amazonaws.com

Ditto inbred server 'software'... E.g.: sockroll.com supposedly runs on "TornServer v.01a"; co-IP/habitants tornmarketing.com, proximini.com, and proximany.com supposedly run on "Sockroll Server v.01a", etc.

I prefer "PfuiServer" m'self:)

I saw this bot on one of my sites so I Googled it.

Google's SERP snippet for their site says "Web sites related to SockrollBot. www.webmasterworld.com".

The site itself says "Sockroll is a news magazine that contains half a billion articles from all your favorite sites. New articles appear as they are published."

Apologies to any Sockroll subscribers, but not all of your favorite sites will be represented.
