Got a sudden spate of hits with this UA today from a Swedish broadband IP.

IP: 213.89.144.nnn
UA: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; DNS-Digger-Explorer/1.0; +http://www. dnsdigger. com)
(spaces added to domain)

One hit (repulsed) on each of several sites.

From the dnsdigger web site:

"This service tries to dig deeper into the hostname than any other service."

"Contact us for subscription for all results you can search for a day, week or month."

"Prices has been mega slashed!"

"Over 140,000,000 resolved IP-numbers in database"
"Over 177,000,000 hosts in database"

So, guys, we're being sold out again!

No surprises there, always someone trying to make a quick buck off the least amount of work possible scrounging the web.

dnsdigger has been there for a while, I use it once in a while, while (link) hunting.

robots.txt? NO

The OP's Swedish IP is the same as the UA's domain. This IP is different but it's also a Swedish server farm.

No surprise here. They've been at this since at least 2006 which is when I first reported on them.

Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; DNS-Digger/1.0; [dnsdigger.com...] DNS-Digger)

Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; DNS-Digger/1.0; [dnsdigger.com)...]

Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; DNS-Digger-Explorer/1.0; [dnsdigger.com)...]

ADDED: Oops, I didn't see your sub-title at first. Sorry about that.
