Bad Bot is google?

Bad bot scraping my site found in Google Cache

I was recently getting a lot of requests from what appears to be a bad bot.

IP : 209.194.198.nnn
User Agent : vBot 0.1 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1)

Now if you google for the useragent (in quotes) you find a sites error page in the cache which outputs the useragent for debug. the cache page shows this user agent.

Logically it should be GoogleBot useragent there.

Anyways I went ahead and banned this IP (since it doesnt resolve to Google )

I'm confused. Why do you think vBot should resolve to the host name for Googlebot? Or isn't that what you're saying?
