Its site says it's a kid-friendly browser. But I've got one Comcaster who pointed it at one of my sites a month ago and it's only ever been on automatic pilot. At least a recent UA change now accurately IDs what it's doing:

NOW:

Surf Knight (bot@surfknight.com)
robots.txt? NO

ORIG:

Surf Knight
robots.txt? NO

The site also trumpets a new kid-safe search engine, with assorted tie-ins. Ironic how, when it comes to bots, this kid- and parent-targeted company behaves inappropriately.

I've been watching this for a while. Yes, looks like a content filter. Always just requests the home page only. Seems harmless.
