On Saturday I had what appeared to be almost a crawl, although the same refer was provided on each page.
Images were only grabbed on the initial page.
Eighteen pages in all, and ALL within the same second of time.
The IP range was an MS range.
I've tried testing the Live searches and my own Ip shows in logs, rather than an MS IP.
As a result might I assume the user MS as their provider?
Perhaps a proxy was used in some manner?
22-pages in 10-seconds.
then an 18-second gap in time, before a final request and exit.
