How to block all those sites that collect site info

and past them on there site, a little like alexa, but with whois....

Is there a way to block all those sites that collect website info, like they make whois public, site review, stats.... Its getting on my nervs to see all those sites pop up everywhere when you type your own website, like reviews is just your meta descriptions... I know you can block alexa, but does any have a list how to block all those sites.

I'm not aware of any collective listing (at least not on an active web page).

I don't have a collective accumulation of these (at least as a categorized list), however over time, I've denied many under three diffiernet critera; referrer, UA and IP. To sort it all out in format that might prove useful to others would simply be too time consuming.

There are varying opinions (benefical or detrimental) as to the worthiness of some of these.
