I've seen them a lot lately, even in my javascript based tracking software.
I normally don't see bots there. I don't get it.

Searchme is an interesting enough 'visual' search engine. It's a cool gimmick, but I'm undecided as to whether there's any mileage in it.

You're likely seeing them even for js-enabled because as far as I can tell they are screen capturing every single page in their database.

From what I've seen, their bot can follow basic JS links but doesn't do well with AJAX or document.writeln syntax.

I get a visit from the searchme spider (think it's called Charlotte) about three times a day. It crawls about two or three pages, leaves, then comes back 6 to 8 hours later. At least the searchme website is active and you can see where all the info is going.

Never have figured out what the kavam crawler is up to. Seems like that's been around a few years now also.

Both are picked up by my javascript tracking software.
