Faking to be Googlebot

Found this on my logs. The IP was already banned previously for some reason or from some other blacklist, but anyway, here's another who looks like GoogleBot but is far from it:

Error: 403
IP: 72.232.225.nnn
UA: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +http://www.google.com/bot.html)

This time did hit only once, stopped after received the 403 error... Any further info on this? Or found other similar attempts?

Might be just some forum spam attempt or similar what we get anyway, but just to let you know.

That's a Layered Technologies IP, their whole hosting farm should be blocked.

Probably not spoofing, odds are it was an attempted proxy hijacking.
