Doing a reverse DNS on the IP address says a lot about some bots:

138.15.10.10
svext.nec-labs.com

You'll find on their website they have a lot of internet projects going on and even a search engine patent.

They also participate in projects with PlanetLab:
[planet-lab.org...]

Hard to say what it was about, but probably not something bad, yet...
