This is a new one to me and searching G only shows that it's in a bunch of web visible log analytics. It looked at the robots.txt and so far seems to be complying, but whats it about?

I believe it belongs to the Exalead search engine.

Yes, it's for Exalead and it's an interesting search engine but I'm not sure it will ever catch on.

Just seen this and wondered what it was.

Interesting site, BUT: they have a preview feature (click on the thumbnail) which grabs the page in question live from your site and embeds it in their own frame, making some modifications to the HTML source in the process (including, it seems, removing Adsense code). I'm not sure I like that.

They also seem to be using a bot which names itself just "NG/2.0".

I though it was good manners for serious SEs to provide an URL or at least an email in their UA string?
