64.236.97.1 to 64.236.97.1 can be found in my logs, identifying themselves as "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1)" but getting single htm files (no CSS, no pix) between 1 and 6 o'clock CEST.
This is not the normal AOL proxy. rDNS = choice-dtc-09.iwebsys.aol.com
Searching Google for "iwebsys.aol.com" reveals some results.
Anyone?

I previously sent Jan a reply to this whil it was "pending".

The IP range for this AOL Transit Data and the same ranges were grabbing 1-2 pages daily from my sites for nearly two months.
All without images or robot.txt.

This week the number of daily pages increased to at least a dozen daily.

I've denied the range to the Class C numbered provided by Jan.
