At the same time PigBlock (Windows NT 5.1; U) [en] was disrespecting robots.txt and managing to avoid any of my traps, PigBlock (Windows NT 5.1; U) [en] Gecko was doing the same exact thing.

Never seen PigBlock before but you can rest assured when I do the "Deliverance" references will be priceless.

I checked, but a peep of abuse from than range.

I'm feeling left out :(

Aye! Me also, however I've added the UA.

There've been times where I've had RR's entire data set of IP's denied. Occassionaly I review and make adjustments (such as earlier this year).

For the longest time RR was concentrated in the east, however today their in numeorus states.

The next time the Pig comes around I'll be happy to redirect him to your sites. LOL

Bill, I read your blog for two reasons. First, it's informative. Second, your ribald derision of naughty user agents makes me chuckle out loud every time. I can hardly wait until you get a visit from the Pig.

I was thinking about this user agent. Could someone think they're somehow blocking enforcement from identifying them? I'm not sure if it's still en vogue, but there was a time when law enforcement officers were called, somewhat pejoratively, pigs.
