207.44.202.102 - - [22/Aug/2005:12:08:31 -0700] "GET /example.html HTTP/1.0" 200 7501 "DynaWeb [dit-inc.us...] "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +http://www.google.com/bot.html)"

Running from Everyone's Internet ISP services.

Their "disclaimer" page says they are caching webpages to help Chinese get the internet; online since 2002. First time I've seen them.

Besides using the Google UA stsring unethically IMO, they do not request robots.txt nor support the nocache meta tag. I banned them because of these reasons.

It's a shame they made it hard for us to let Chinese citizens have a shot at viewing the full Internet.

I don't know..I read somewhere. possibly here in webmasterworld, that Google has got their hands in the bucket of one of those big search engines over there.
Of course, you know it stands to reason, that if it's big, Google's gonna try to get a piece of it.

Sorry for the delay. Hurricane Katrina paid me a visit. ;)

I've sort of been following Google's entry into the Chinese market. I hope they make it easier for everyone to share information. I guess that's a discussion for a different forum. :)
