The Yahoo Seeker Product bot:
[help.yahoo.com...]

Has been going nuts on my site for about 5 days, Sucking up Bandwidth like Oklahoma trailers in a hurricane.

Anyone getting any actual traffic and/or sales as a result of this bots activities? I am already pretty PO'd at Yahoo for the new algo's crappy results and nuking some of my best content for no good reason. So I am inclined to block this bot.

Is this a new crawler? (I haven't seen it before)

The bot honors robots.txt

User-Agent: YahooSeeker
Disallow: /

Your the only one who may determine if the bandwidth is worth the returned traffic.

Jeeves crawls generate far more bandwidth than traffic returned on my end and yet I allow the bot.
