It's likley a translators attempt of a technical and dignified presentation.

As much as we like to think that English is the universal language? It just isn't so.
The translation software's will never reach capability. Apparently it's just not possible.

Recently I saw a thread (don't recall where, however likely Usenet,) where a paragraph was converted to three different languages and then each converted back to English. IT WASN'T pretty.

Anybody who is capable of maintaining sentence structure that is understandable in mutiple languages without being facetious should be commended with metals.

My interests and websites surround a specific breed of horses and when communicating with non-English speaking folks can be quite difficult. Even though many of the horse terms are universal across most languages.
I've learned to keep the sentencs simple, and the thoughts separated into spaced paragraphs to make the translation easier for a contact that I'm aware is doing manual translation.

Jan should be able to provide some insights into this as he's in Germany and communicates with excellent skills in English.
Not sure how he does in German though ;)
