Hi..this has probably been discussed before but I want to know how I can establish when a search engine has spidered my site. I would also like to be able to identify exactly which engines have visited and at what times.

Do you have access to your log files? - From here you can see when/what/who (SE's) have found your site.

If you don't have access to this file, then, there are third party site stat providers out there that show these details with some javascript/cgi/pl code. A simple search can provide many results.
