Useragent "Mozilla"

just fetches robots.txt

I get hit daily for the last weeks by
68.104.56.9 "GET /robots.txt HTTP/1.1" 200 1932 "-" "Mozilla"

it repeats that about 10 times then leaves.

what spider/user agent is that?

IMHO, the user agent is a fake. There's no client that only identifies as Mozilla.

The ip resolves to the Cox Communications Inc. net, a large provider in Las Vegas, Nevada. Someone in germany said that it's the bot Franklin Locator 1.8 [webmasterworld.com] who seeks guestbooks that can be spammed automatically. Don't know how he comes to this conclusion though.

btw, the same question has been allready asked a few days ago: [webmasterworld.com...]
